The people behind the finca

A place built with love for detail and nature.

Michelle & Frans

Two kindred spirits, one finca

In early 2023, Michelle and Frans came together to this finca — two kindred spirits in search of a new adventure. They traded the rush of everyday life for the gentle rhythm of the Vall de Pop, and discovered what a life in the open air does to a person: the shoulders drop, the days grow wider, time seems to move more slowly.

It is exactly that feeling they wanted to share. Michelle looks after the atmosphere and the interiors; she has an unerring eye for detail and turns every room into a place where you come to rest. As a certified yoga teacher, she knows better than anyone how to truly slow down. Frans, a landscape architect, transformed the grounds around the finca into a lush garden that breathes with the seasons — a green oasis that draws you outside all by itself.

Together they live the way they wish for their guests: without hurry, close to nature, with an eye for the small moments. A morning that begins at first light, an afternoon that takes all the time it needs, an evening that lasts as long as the conversation flows.

Life outdoors

The day moves outside

Stay here a while and you notice it happening: life moves outside. The morning begins with coffee on the terrace, while the sun slowly makes its way across the Vall de Pop. During the day there is the garden, the water, the shade of a fig tree. In the evening, long dinners unfold under the open sky, until the crickets take over.

Michelle and Frans live this way themselves — and you feel it in everything. No programmes that fill up your day, no hurry. The seasons set the rhythm: almond blossom in February, warm evenings in August, the olive harvest in November.

Time is relative here

Everything slows down here

Perhaps that is the finca's real secret. On the first day you still check your phone. Then you start to notice that an afternoon can last a long time — in the best way. That a walk needs no destination. That doing nothing is doing something too.

Their belief

A place can change you

What Michelle and Frans share is a belief: that a place can change you. Finca Four Seasons is built around that idea — a place where luxury and simplicity, comfort and nature, doing and doing nothing hold each other in balance.
